For engagement sessions, here’s the deal. They’re so much fun, you won’t even realize we’re taking photos. They typically feel like a hang out. We crack jokes and get to know each other a bit before your big day. For best results, we ask couples what they would typically do together if they both had the day off, and that’s what we plan to shoot. Whether it’s a trip to the dog park with your pup, rollerskating in the park or getting fries and a Chocolate Freeze at Camellia Grill, we’ll capture your essence in a way that feels natural to you. There are no rules! As for attire, we recommend you wear something that makes you feel comfortable. The most important thing is that these photos feel like you. We want your love to shine through.

For weddings, we take a laid back approach. By the time your wedding day rolls around, we’re like old friends. We’ll be there to capture every moment, but we’re never in the way. We prefer to document your big day as it naturally unfolds, with very little posing. If you’re wondering whether we shoot first looks and bridal party imagery, of course we do! But other than moving you into better lighting when buttoning up your dress or tying your tie, it’s all candid. We want you to look back at your wedding photos and remember the day exactly as it happened. 

While being in front of the camera might feel a little funny at first, if you come in with an open mind and a sense of humor, together we can make magic.
